Short messages, connected over time.
EchoExp is a public space where short, anonymous messages — called echoes — become fish in a shared underwater world. Post a thought, and it appears as a named fish swimming through a coral reef alongside everyone else's messages.
Anyone can continue any echo, creating branching conversations that grow over time. Each continuation makes your fish grow larger and more expressive. Reply to someone else's echo, and your fish may swim closer to theirs.
You are assigned a random pen name — a verb and a noun, like "Wishing Hearth" or "Floating Petal." No sign-up required. No cookies. No personal data collected. Messages are public, anonymous, and append-only.
1. Visit echoexp.me
2. Read the latest echo in the shared thread
3. Write your own short message (up to 280 characters)
4. Watch your named fish appear in the aquarium
5. Continue the conversation over time — your fish grows with each echo
